Abstract
Research into the use of sensors and in particular biofeedback has been increasing due to the wide availability and public adoption of sensors. A strand of sensors research includes how games experiences, and in particular games-based approaches, may benefit from sensor and biofeedback integration. In this talk, Dr John Henry will explore how off-the-shelf wearable technology can empower games-based approaches that are available for wider adoption. The talk will present the findings on an existing research project into a heart-rate driven game solution, considering potential adoption, sensor and implementation limitations and opportunities for further research
