Join Dr Tom Micklewright, GP, writer and digital health specialist, in this 45-minute talk exploring the question, will emerging technologies make for a fairer society? We will explore specific examples, from AI to Big Data, of how new technology is impacting equality in our world, including access to healthcare, and what we must do to keep equality, diversity and humanity at the heart of the tech revolution.

Speaker's Bio
Dr Tom Micklewright has been an NHS doctor for over 7 years and currently works as a GP, writer and digital health specialist in the NHS and for Push Doctor, a telemedicine health provider. He is a Clinical Entrepreneur Fellow with NHS England, runs the Next Generation GP Leadership Programme in Liverpool and was previously the national GP Trainee Chairman at the British Medical Association.
