Abstract
Leading medical propellant manufacturer and supplier, Koura, have announced a multimillion-pound investment into a new laboratory facility based at their medical division HQ at Thornton Science Park, Chester, UK. The facility will be the first dedicated pharmaceutical grade laboratories specialising in the new low carbon footprint medical propellant Zephex® 152a and will create several highly skilled scientific and technical roles based on-site.
Koura supports academic research and development at a number of Universities. A team from Cambridge University are presenting results from their work programme on the stability of large molecules in Zephex® 152a. Academic staff and students from The University of Chester Faculty of Science and Engineering would be very welcome to attend.
